Investment Casting – Lost wax model method

 

Company Medeko Cast has been developing technologies of investment casting since 2000 on the basis of its employees’ experience which results from the tradition in aviation production in the region. In 2006 a new plant for investment casting in modern premises equipped with modern technologies was put into operation.
 

We specialize in precision (investment) casting by lost wax model method. This technology is suitable for production of shape difficult parts and enables to maximise the portion of finished surfaces and minimise subsequent machining operations.

Modern materials and technologies used for production of the ceramic mould fully replicate even the finest surface details and give our castings high dimensional accuracy and excellent surface finish (from Ra3,2)

Investment casting can be the right solution to reduce production cost.
Our modern facilities and experience of our people enable us to cast wide range of materials and we can offer full consultancy and complex services through design and construction of moulds, heat treatment and machining of the castings to surface treatment (corundum blasting, steel shot blasting, electrochemical burnishing).

  • grade 1 according to STN EN ISO 8062 - 3 : 2007
  • grade D1, D2, D3 according to VDG P690

  • surface roughness from Ra 3,2

WEIGHT OF THE CASTS

  • standard from 10 grams up to 1,5 kg
  • over 1,5 kg after the judgement of the shape and size
